The Service

As Projects Assistant you shall be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of the Defects Liability activities associated with each completed project.

Key activities include ensuring timeous reporting and action by contractors, co-ordinating End of Defects Inspections and good communication with tenants as to progress, difficulties and outcomes.

In your role you will be required to ensure compliance with the organisation’s best practice procedures, in-house and external reporting tools and excellent levels of customer focus.


You will have:

  • High degree of IT skills particularly in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working for a Housing Association or contracting organisation
  • A problem solving approach to respond to enquiries
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • A Driving Licence and have access to a car


You will be:

  • An effective communicator
  • Able to foster positive relationships within the team
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast moving environment
