The Service

Hillcrest Futures Learning Disability services are long established in Alyth and surrounding areas. There are three teams that work to support the services: two of these teams are based at our supported accommodation services at Airlie View and Burnside Court with the third being an Outreach team who work with individuals who live in their own homes within the local community.

Our teams are fully trained and have a wealth of experience supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes. We meet a wide range of needs including supporting individuals with complex health needs.


The Role

The Support Worker role will include:

  • Providing support and assistance with all activities of daily living to enable the individuals to enjoy happy and fulfilling lives, within their home and in the community
  • Shift work; early mornings, evenings, weekend work, waking night shifts and sleepovers are a requirement of some of the services


You Will

  • Have a positive flexible attitude to life
  • Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the willingness to undertake study to achieve this
  • Be required to gain registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
